40+ weeks
Funny how the babynamey.com thing on the right side of the blog says "Your baby is 2 days old."
Yesterday at 40 weeks and 1 day.

We are patiently awaiting the arrival of the little guy b/c we know we'll be meeting him within 1 week! We're enjoying spending many date nights together and I'm getting lots of great sleep, which I am very thankful for.

Nursery
I shared with you our inspiration nursery a while ago.

What we took from this is a slightly altered version of the letters wall and brown and white furniture. We had Kate Duff, a friend from high school, do the letters/numbers wall. She did such an amazing job. We are thrilled with her work! This is the sketch she drew up for us. We changed some of letters and added a 2 and a 3. (No, his name is not hidden in here. We've gotten that question a couple of times.)

She did most of it by hand, using a laser to trace straight lines. The rest, like the 3, were done with stencils. She's a perfectionist, which is a good match for me.

Complete!

Dixie loves her baby brother's room. She can't wait to be a big sister.

Cardboard Safari. Josh put this together piece-by-piece.

We want to get this to go above the dresser, but without a name and a birthday, we have to wait on it.

Update on mom: I am 39 weeks and 5 days and feeling great. Definitely can tell it's going to happen soon...feeling more and more pressure. Baby will most likely be here no later than Friday, 2/4, but we're hoping it's sooner than that.
Update on dad: He's feeling great and is sore from playing tennis on Sunday. Can't wait to be a daddy!
Update on our families: Some of them may be a little impatient with us since we haven't finalized a name...totally understandable. They are all waiting by their phones. Each time we call they think it's "that call." Soon enough!

37 even though I'm almost 38
Like I told my teammate, Aaron Leifeste, I haven't posted anything since week 28 because I don't look any different. This is not true. Here's last week's pic at 37. Tomorrow I'm 38, which means I have 2 weeks (2 weeks!) until the due date. Pretty soon you'll see nursery pics, but I am not ready to post those yet. We have a couple of walls that need decor, but that might not happen until post no-named baby boy Womack's arrival. We are so ready to meet him and go through the labor and delivery process. Until then, we are enjoying spending time together and sleeping as much as possible.

And here's my nephew, Noah, holding my 5 1/2 week old niece, Sydney. Uncle Josh is head over heels for her. :)

27 weeks
I've been a bad blogger. I'm now 27 weeks and I'm twice as big as 23 weeks, but still need to take today's picture to show you. Things have been good with pregnancy. I'll be in the 3rd trimester next week, which is crazy! We are slowly getting the nursery ready. We have the crib in the box and we've painted the room. BUT, we are repainting the room b/c we don't like it. At some point when the nursery is more put together, I'll post pictures. Here's a picture of my most favorite nursery:

We are modeling our nursery after this, but it won't look just like this. I don't even know if it will look like this at all, but I still love it and we'll love baby boy Womack's just as much!
He is still just our little monkey, as he remains nameless. We have a short list, but this baby might not have a name until he arrives - and we are fine with that. He's also moving a lot and I'm really enjoying that. I actually felt a roll the other day instead of just a kick. What a wild feeling!

23 weeks
Here are some pics and a video I promised you from NYC...
At 20 weeks, which was 3 weeks ago.

Josh and I, Women's semis.

Kim Clijsters serving (look at those quads!). We really loved watching her play. She is the best sport and has such a great attitude. Never complained. Never grunted. Very enjoyable. She also reminds us of Gretchen, so that means we liked her even more.

Venus's departure from losing.

This is Kim's departure after winning the match. Josh is the one in the green jacket right by the camera. You'll see him throw his red hat down at her. She was signing everything, and the little kids would even throw those over-sized tennis balls at her.
So this morning, now at 23 weeks, I just couldn't smile - like Chandler Bing. I think I take really bad pictures in the morning b/c my face is swollen or something. So I chose to share with you the one that I purposefully looked bad in. But, who cares about my face? It's my belly you're all wondering about!
